Warm up for London Fashion Week at Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair Amelia GrahamSeptember 7, 20153 viewsFashion0 Comments3 views Less than a week before London’s top designers take to the catwalks for the S/S’16 edition of London Fashion Week, Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair will host its biannual event The Vintage Collections. Designer names and classic looks that inspire the catwalks today will be available to buy from over 50 traders at the beautiful Old Finsbury Town Hall in Clerkenwell, London’s design district. The Vintage Collections has been a part of London’s Fashion Week festivities for twelve seasons now and is popular with both fashion-loving members of the public and the industry including celebrity stylists, design house teams and fashion editors from top publications. This season the fair’s campaign image features a dramatic, 1970s Jean Varon dress, sourced from one of their traders, which is right on trend for A/W’15. Showing how trends always come back around, the deep purple, full-length dress with bell sleeves wouldn’t look amiss on today’s red carpet style icons. As well as vintage fashion galore, the fair will also include a traditional tearoom with live music, an on-site alterations service and manicure bar to make it an enjoyable day out with plenty to see and do. Amelia Graham Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair’s Vintage Collections fair takes place on Sunday 13th September 2015 from 11am until 5pm at the Old Finsbury Town Hall, Rosebery Avenue, London, EC1R 4RP. Entry is £4 for public and £2 for students.
