Focusing on swimwear and resortwear, the eponymous brand explores the modern hippy and decides to ‘Tune In, Turn On and Drop Out’ for the summer of 2016. Heavily referencing Woodstock, Burning Man and Coachella, the brand studies the transformation of an urban professional into a modern day hippy, dropping inhibitions, breaking boundaries and achieving a complete sense of freedom. The most intricate collection yet uses tromp l’oeil effect meshes overlaying a psychedelic iridescent snake fabric, top stitching features heavily in the stunning transformer pieces, reversible black and cobalt neoprene is quilted and paired with a cobalt mesh and adorned with futuristic accessories and the hand crochet pieces, one of whom is a limited edition gown with the Yes Master logo crochet by hand will appeal to the modern day directional Boho girl. The show stopping Woodstock collection features a one piece suit with the iconic images jacquard into the body and an incredible, keep sake Woodstock poncho that is adorned with raven feathers, a double fringe and bordered in a crochet trim. This season sees a collaboration with the creative mastermind of the cult club Drugstore, Dragana Dobric. The Yes Master X Drugstore collaboration see the launch of crochet beach accessories including fringe baseball caps and the nearly nude Orhidea suit that leaves very little to the imagination.
